Dental Crowns

Replace Missing Teeth or Existing Crowns "Invisibly"

Unlike a lot of offices where the dental work looks like dental work, at AuSable Family Dental, P.C., we aim for our dentistry to be undetectable.

When we replace existing crowns and fillings with restorations, they look and feel just like your natural teeth!

Get Long-Lasting Correction of Major Dental Problems

If you've suffered extreme tooth damage that looks beyond repair, we can use crowns to make your smile look like new.

Our extremely reliable technique will address the most severe dental problems, permanently replacing missing teeth and giving you a complete smile and functional biting abilities.

Expect a Simple, Two-Part Process With Your Crown

If you're being fitted for a dental crown, expect at least two visits to our office.

Initially, we'll remove any existing decay, shape your tooth, and then fit it with a temporary crown. On the next visit, we'll remove the temporary crown and then fit and adjust the final crown. Once we cement the crown in place, you'll have a new, beautiful-looking tooth.

Crowns Are Designed to Provide Long-Term Service

If you're experiencing major dental problems due to accident, disease, or general wear and tear, crowns and bridgework offer a reliable fix.
  • Materials used in these repairs include either high-grade zirconia.
  • For the most serious dental problems, higher strength porcelain and gold materials are recommended.
  • Crowns and bridges offer a long-term solution for teeth lost to accidental damage, for teeth broken from excessive wear, and when old fillings have broken.

Let Us Address Your Tooth Pain and Appearance Issues

It's not unusual to experience pain from filled back teeth due to hairline cracks in the chewing surface. Placing crowns on these teeth can relieve your pain and restore full dental function.

For front teeth or incisors, older fillings can weaken them and cause appearance problems due to stains and chips. Porcelain crowns and bridges are suitable in instances where porcelain veneers will not do.

Finally, for teeth with root canal fillings, crowns can prevent breakage.
